ABOUT

Hi! I'm Winnie and I do things.

After typing my first detective story on the typewriter and tearing it to pieces aged twelve, I decided to become a photojournalist and started studying photography and motion design in 2011. In 2013 I transferred to University of Arts in berlin to study fine arts with main focus on installation and new media art as well as space & surrounding space and graduated in 2018.

Since 2014 I work as a scenographer.

In 2016 I co-founded the label trix which got honored with the title kultur- und kreativpiloten by the german government. Under the label artists create location-based virtual reality experiences (LBVR).

Taking a sneak peek into political science and studying fine arts under Prof. Ina Weber [art in architecture] evolved into my interest in spatial sociology.

with the recurring hype about virtual reality, we have made it our business not to completely lose the ground under our feet. With the help of structure-borne sound transducers, floor plates begin to vibrate. At the push of a button it gets hot or cold. Since 2016 artists* have been designing multi-sensory, mixed reality installations for VR productions under the label trix. These productions take place between entity and reality; between virtual and physical space. trix sees itself as a cooperative experimental field for location-based VR, for stage construction with Arduinos, for carpenters meets Tekkie.
